 Panorama route safari
Just wanted you to know what a wonderful time we had on our safari with Themba. It was a great ride up with Sam, Joseph and later, Walter. We got the panoramic tour and it was absolutely clear. Spectacular views. The Sunset Lodge was great ... wonderful folks, so friendly. Jackie was a great bush walk guide. We learned a lot.
Linda and I really enjoyed our time with Walter. he was interesting, informative, and shared some of the political history of South Africa. That was great since we are both politically involved here. Our Kruger guide, Lori, was terrific. Very personable and informative.
We enjoyed the big five drive and we did find 4 of the 5 but the driver wasn't very informative. He basically drove never explaining anything about the signs they were looking for, habitat or the animals. Another couple with us on the drive had done one the week before in another part of South Africa. They told us what they had learned on that drive. The difference from their previous experience along with the superb ones we had with Lori and Jackie was striking and disappointing. We shared this with Walter and he said we should let you know.
Doing something like this via the internet from such a great distance could have been a disaster. I got sold by a couple of the testimonials I read. In your business it is all about the service and the people you have working for you. Themba has some real gems. By the way ... Sam is a heck of a good driver besides being a nice person.

5 Day Hongonyi Safari (14th August 2010)
Here our experience, posted in TripAvdisor site. Last August we spent a few days in South Africa relying on Themba Day Tours and Safari's.
From first to last day enjoyed the perfect organization of Themba.
Everything was perfect.
From the accommodation at Waybury House in Johannesburg, to the transfers in their comfortable buses, to the fantastic Hongonyi Private Game Lodge safaris and of course … our 5 days of unforgettable safaris.
This is a personal experience and unique, it’s hard to describe it!
Waking up before dawn, living in nature all day, eating in the evening around the campfire, talk about what we have seen and then listen to the silence.
We wish to thank heartily Dirk (Themba), Brenda (Waybury House), Marina and Gary (Hongonyi) and all persons of their staff who have cared of us for our entire trip.
People who love own work and do it the best.
We recommend this journey to everyone.

Just wish to thank you for organizing an superb safari tour for our family. Our tour guide - Mike was extremly nice and after answering 100 000 questions about South Africa and nature still was a smile and an essential part of a perfect safari tour. The lodge was good and our safaris extraordinary. A special thank you was for making my wifes 60th birthday an evening to remember.

We just wanted to send you a quick email letting you know how much we enjoyed the 4-day safari offered by your company.
The whole time during those four days was one great experience. Just from the beginning of the trip to the end we enjoyed everything: the great company and competence of Mark, our guide, the amazing scenery and wildlife seen during our travel time and safaris, the charming place where we stayed over those four days, its very cozy and private atmosphere, very friendly staff, and very tasty food. The service throughout the whole time was excellent!
