Itinerary
DAY 1 :
We collect you from your Johannesburg hotel/O R Tambo airport and drive along the Highveld grasslands to Dullstroom, quaint tourist town, where we have a lunch stop(own expense). After check-in at Tremisana Game Lodge, we board the rugged Landcruiser and go on a 4h Sunset Game Drive. Enjoy an open-air BBQ at the famous Marula Boma. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana.
DAY 2 :
An armed ranger conducts a Bush Walk along the mighty Olifants River. This has proved to be a highlight that affords you the opportunity to investigate wildlife spoor and scats not readily seen from a vehicle. Return to Tremisana for Brunch. After lunch and siesta, we go on a 4h Sundowner Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana.
DAY 3 :
After breakfast, board the Open Sided Vehicle and go on a full day safari in Kruger Park proper. Lunch(own expense) at Satara Camp. Return in the late evening to Tremisana for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 :
After an early breakfast, depart by 7h30 for drive from Tremisana to Hluhluwe in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal. Enjoy some excellent scenic drives. Dinner and overnight at the newly refurbished Pumusa Bush Camp, built in a luxuriant-vegetated Sand Forest.
DAY 5 :
After breakfast, drive to nearby Hluhluwe Game Reserve for a full day of game viewing. We are practically guaranteed to see Rhino that have not been dehorned in Hluhluwe and neighbouring Imfolozi Game Reserve. These reserves are the oldest in SA (proclaimed in 1898) and were responsible for saving the White Rhino from extinction. Lunch will be enjoyed at an open picnic spot or hide. Dinner and overnight at Pumusa.
DAY 6 :
After breakfast, drive to the world-famous St Lucia. Visit the Isimangaliso Wetland Park that was listed in 1999 as SA’s very first World Heritage Site. It contains 3 major lake systems, 8 interlinking ecosystems, 700 year old fishing traditions, most of SA’s swamp forests and Africa’s largest estuarine system ! At St Lucia there is time for a swim in the warm Indian ocean. After a picnic lunch, we explore this amazingly quaint subtropical village. We drive to the Sunset Jetty and board our River Cruiser and search the estuary for hippo, crocodile and other wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Pumusa.
DAY 7 :
Early morning Nature Walk hoping to see special birds endemic to this area such as Crowned Hornbill, Trumpeter Hornbill, Crested Guineafowl, Livingstone’s Touraco and Narina Trogon. If you are lucky, you will see rare antelope such as Red Duiker and Suni, not found in Kruger Park. Drive to King Shaka International airport near Durban arriving at around 11h00. For those tourists wishing to return to Johannesburg, we drive to Dullstroom from where you take our shuttle vehicle.

Tariffs are all-inclusive. Excluded are lunches on transfer days and days in Kruger, drinks and personal items.
